Cancer, you are adaptable. No matter what the cause or situation, you are able to evolve to match your surrounding. You may not enjoy the transition at first, but you are able to pick yourself together and find a new niche in any new place. Because you are so flexible, the adjustment can come much easier for you than for others, even though it may not seem so at first. All you have to do is rely on yourself, and you will find that no matter what you will find a perfect position for yourself.
Cancer Heaven:
Cancer, sometimes you realize how lonely you are even when there is someone right next to you. Sometimes, even when there are deep emotional connections, you feel isolated from the rest of the crowd. You don’t know why, but you feel like the only crab in a sea of only fish. Don’t worry cancer because you aren’t alone, and people are actually always going to be there for you. Sometimes you need to just tear your walls down and let those others inside.
Cancer Heaven:
Cancer, there are times when you need to take a deep breath. Sometimes you think you can do everything without help, and you get too much on your plate. But do not fret, you are capable of handling all situations with your intuition and adaptability skills. All you need to do is step back and change your perspective on the matter. When that is done, you will be able to finish everything that has been causing you so much stress.
Cancer Heaven:
Cancer, when you are pumped, you are extremely pumped. Your emotions are geared into emotional hyperdrive, and they are ready to scream to the end of the world about what you are passionate about. All your soul seems to speak one thing at the time. Embrace it cancer because when you are pumped, it can be the time of your life.

Awesome.

Awesome.

Watching students grow is interesting—and them observing my process helps them see that it’s not that mysterious of a thing to do. In order to figure this artmaking stuff out, it’s trial and error and experimentation, and takes some time and hard thinking. Putting work out in many forms and stages is an extension of how I see things. I feel the art process is best served when it invites comments and constructive criticism from people. It’s a strategic gesture, too, because the feedback I receive helps me move forward with my ideas, which is what process is about—to craft and evolve something.
Jim Goldberg Love these words.

NYFW: Ralph Lauren S/S 2013

I have to admit upon attending the Ralph Lauren S/S 2013 runway show I felt as though I had joined a part of the fashion elite as I found myself immersed in a room with some of the biggest names and talents in fashion… This idea was only furthered once the collection premiered. Lauren’s mature and elegant take on western-inspired fashion was evident throughout the first looks in the show with large bow details, ponchos and shawls, large ruffled shoulder detailing and layers of beaded colorful jewelry. The color palette included red, turquoise, purple and creme. The usual Ralph Lauren flare soon became present as the collection slowly transitioned into more form-fitting and less layered looks as evidenced by solid colored evening gowns coupled with matching structured hats. This collection was made for those far and beyond and it’s quite evident that Ralph Lauren knows how to thematically make the unconventional so incredibly chic.

Ralph Lauren never fails to remind me of our family’s roots and vision - in dress, in decor, in attitude, in lifestyle. More paricularly, he reminds me of my parents - sarah whitty and g. holland. They.Are.Classics. In beauty, style, etiquette and attitude. Born and raised in preppy Grosse Point, MI - both are children of 2 separate sets of style icons. The clean prep + a little native american boho spirit = our ancestors. This vision has been passed along for generations before us and is currently what we are living and carrying on…in fashion, in homes, in decor, in etiquette. in humble spirit. in comfort. in natural beauty. In family. In life. So Thanks Ralphy - for your constant inspiration, loyal roots and amazing vision of the American family. -the Hollands :)
